Gyakuten Saiban action figures by Volks on display at Tokyo Game Show last weekend: Phoenix, Edgeworth, Ema (GS4), and Trucy. They’re out in 2009 and are “no scale” (LOL). More photos under the cut.

World’s number one princess, indeed.
Chara Hobby 2008 is a more mecha oriented & family friendly affair, but there were still many impressive figures on display. Also Vocaloid overload (including the world’s creepiest “booth babe” ever). More coverage under the cut!

“何系でもない (Nan ike demo nai)” is a Nico Nico Douga meme where this NEWS Russ-K coat commercial gets parodied with various different series. Noteworthy favorites of mine are Gundam 00, Fukumoto series, Devil May Cry, and Dragon Ball Z.
This one, however, takes the cake: a figma stop animation Russ-K Parody. (LOL at Lelouch/Zero.)

Long post was LOOOOOOOOONG, so I split up the WonFes coverage into several posts which I will publish over time. First part is a photo rundown of all my favorite PVC figures from this year’s Wonfes. I must attend at least once in my lifetime.

All Zero cosplayers, here’s a heads up:
Too awesome for words. It’s made from craft foam covered in black/gold stretch vinyl, and it can open up with screws. Not sure how they did the visor.

Besides Wonfes, the World Cosplay Summit finals were held last weekend. Basically, countries from around the world send representative pairs to compete in Nagoya, Japan at a televised masquerade on Japanese TV, along with a parade and other events (like meeting the Vice Foreign Minister of Japan, lol at international diplomacy through cosplay.)
The results:
