Shokotan I really kind of love you right now, let’s elope and lick figures together~ ♥
Last year at AX I attended her panel and attended her concert at the Nokia Theater. Luckily I got front row seats from a couple who were leaving, and was right across the aisle from her crazy fanclub members who flew over from Japan to support her so I blended right in ha ha. She’s so cute and quirky in person, I love how she’s not afraid to be herself, and she’s so talented. Also Sora-iro Days (空色デイズ） is one of my favorite GAINAX OP songs EVER. Keep on trucking, Shokotan!
P.S. The post’s title is from one of Ang Lee’s old films, I kind of have his movies on the mind since I went to see him + James Schaumus talk last Monday here at Cal. Total street cred for my folks back home (now if only I can tickets to see the Dalai Lama when he comes in April!) Good semester to be Chinese American at Berkeley.
