Believe in me who believes in you! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!
GL gets its own post because it’s just that awesome. Kicking it off with THIS baby:
Promo poster.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann figure by Volks. Let me tell you, I’m not the biggest fan of mecha, and yet I’m wetting my panties over this. Volks’ sculpting is amazing and I wish that they would do figures more often, rather than their creepy Asian ball-jointed dolls.
PIERCE THE HEAVENS!!! (LOL Kamina’s glasses are askew. Good thing though – it shows they’re removable.)
Now for the flood of Yoko figures:
I like the bullet she’s holding. ATTENTION GANMEN: MY BREASTS ARE ASSAULTING YOU.
The way she’s holding the clip in her mouth = very cute. Also I’m digging the realistic clothing folds and seamlines. </cosplaydork>
Nendroid Yoko is surprisingly cute. I usually am not impressed with nendroids but Yoko is a definite DO WANT.
. . . so why is there a mirror when she’s not even wearing a skirt?
Next up is Vocaloid!

That Gurren Lagann mecha figure is just kick-ass. Nendoroid Yoko looks pretty cute too.
Indeed. I didn’t think they would be able to transition the flames in the original into real life, but the translucent plastic just looks fantastic.
[...] is currently my hero since not only did they recently make that jawesome Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann garage kit, but they’ve come out with these awesome articulated figures for one of my absolute favorite [...]
I would buy TTGL mecha if it wasn’t like 300 BUCKS (but oh it must be sooooo worth that money *salivates*).
